After Graduating in 2008 from Nottingham Trent Univeristy Fine Art, Jennifer has gone on to become part of a very succesfull artist led studio group, based in Nottingham, called Backlit. With successful exibitions in Nottingham, Birmingham and Liverpool she has now undertaken a Post Graduate Degree in ‘Arts Practice’.
Through her practice Ishe explores how a narrative can encourage the viewer to create their own images. Currently exploring this idea primarily through text and sound Jennifer is interested in the social and personal aspects of the interaction with her work. This sometimes includes direct audience interaction, public intervention, or passive audiences in a gallery space. Often focusing on the individual, Jennifer employs restrictions for a personal engagement with her work.
